The room I stayed in at Solitaire Desert Farm was cozy and comfortable. The beds were perfect for a tired traveler like me, and the seating area provided a nice spot to relax after a long day exploring. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool, just the way I like it.
Personally, I found the en-suite bathroom with only a shower a bit cramped for my liking.

The room I stayed in had a cozy seating area where I could unwind after a busy day. It was perfect for relaxing and enjoying some downtime. The air-conditioning was a lifesaver, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout my stay. The en-suite bathroom with a shower was convenient and had everything I needed. I felt relaxed and content in this room with its 2 single beds.
Personally, I would have preferred a room with a double bed instead of the 2 single beds.

An oasis in the middle of the desert, perfect for a stopover on your way to/from Sesriem. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The unique environment boasts a refreshing swimming pool. The comfortable beds and delicious food are a great bonus. The surroundings are breathtaking, allowing you to enjoy a cold beer on the terrace while witnessing the stunning sunset and observing wildlife at the waterhole. A dreamy place indeed.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had the most incredible time during our Easter getaway! The staff were amazingly friendly, always ready to assist, and had a great sense of humor. The delicious dinner and breakfast only added to the wonderful experience. And let's not forget about the pool area with its stunning sunset views over the desert - it was absolutely breathtaking! One of the major advantages was the location, perfect for exploring the Namib Desert and conveniently close to Naukluft Park. And of course, the starry night sky was out of this world!
Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the set time for dinner could be a bit challenging, especially when traveling with a large group.

We had a wonderful stay at Desert Farm in Solitaire. the staff were super friendly and attentive, especially Charlie who showed us around and gave us great recommendations for things to do on the property. We followed his suggestion to take a walk and witness the breathtaking sunset from a nearby hill. the lodge is beautifully situated against a hill, offering stunning views from every angle. Being located along the main road, it was convenient for refueling and restocking supplies in the nearby town of Solitaire. The accommodation was comfortable and the desert garden surrounding the property added a lovely touch. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 👌.
